Day 1: Arrive Ahmedabad
Your journey begins in Ahmedabad, the cultural capital of Gujarat. Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, our representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel. After some rest, step out for a guided city tour. Visit the magnificent Akshardham Temple, an architectural masterpiece showcasing the spiritual heritage of India. Continue to the Hutheesing Jain Temple, famous for its intricate marble carvings, and then walk through history at the Sabarmati Ashram, once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi and a center of India’s freedom struggle. By evening, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ahmedabad – Jamnagar (315 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, begin your drive towards Jamnagar. En route, make a stop at the UNESCO World Heritage site – Rani ki Vav Stepwell, an extraordinary 11th-century stepwell with exquisite carvings narrating mythological tales. On arrival at Jamnagar, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, visit the Bala Hanuman Temple, a shrine world-famous for its unbroken chanting of “Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram” since 1964 – a devotion that has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Jamnagar – Dwarka (130 km / 3 hrs)
Post breakfast, proceed towards the holy city of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. After check-in and refreshment, begin your spiritual exploration with a visit to the Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna. Later, take a ferry ride to Beyt Dwarka (direct payment basis), believed to be the ancient residence of Lord Krishna. On your way back, stop at the Rukmini Devi Temple and the sacred Gopi Talav, associated with the tales of Krishna and the Gopis. End your day with a visit to the Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 4: Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (240 km / 5 hrs)
This morning, drive to Somnath with an enriching stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi and Sudama (the childhood friend of Lord Krishna). Visit the Kirti Mandir dedicated to Gandhi and the Sudama Temple, one of the few temples dedicated to Lord Krishna’s devotee. Continue your journey to Somnath and check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the sacred Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, standing tall on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Experience the divine aura during the evening aarti, followed by the spectacular Light & Sound Show, which narrates the temple’s glorious history. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Somnath – Gir (65 km / 1.5 hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive to the world-famous Gir National Park, the last natural habitat of the majestic Asiatic Lions. Check into your lodge or resort, and later gear up for a thrilling Jeep Safari through the national park. The safari takes you deep into the forest, where apart from lions, you may spot leopards, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, and a wide variety of birds. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. After the safari, return to your stay in Gir for dinner and overnight rest amidst the wilderness.
Day 6: Gir – Diu (110 km / 2.5 hrs)
This morning after breakfast, drive to the charming coastal town of Diu. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and get ready to explore this laid-back beach destination. Begin with the imposing Diu Fort, followed by the Diu Museum showcasing Portuguese artifacts. Visit the serene Bom Jesus Church, the historic St. Paul’s Church, and the spiritual Gangeshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Day 7: Diu – Ahmedabad (370 km / 7 hrs) – Departure
After breakfast, check out and begin your return drive to Ahmedabad. On arrival, you will be directly transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
