Day 1: Ahmedabad – Little Rann of Kutch (Approx. 250 km / 5 hrs)
Upon arrival at Ahmedabad airport/railway station, our representative will welcome you and drive you to the Little Rann of Kutch. Known for its unique salt marshes and surreal landscapes, it offers one of the most memorable desert experiences. Check into your desert resort and relax. By evening, set out on a cross-desert safari, where you may spot herds of wild asses, desert foxes, blue bulls, jackals, wolves, and graceful blackbucks. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay under the starlit desert sky.
Day 2: Little Rann of Kutch – Bhuj (Approx. 280 km / 6 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the vibrant city of Bhuj, often called the “Jaisalmer of Gujarat”. On arrival, check into your hotel and later proceed for sightseeing. Visit the royal Aina Mahal and Prag Mahal, showcasing the grandeur of Kutch rulers. Explore the Cenotaph Complex with its intricately designed memorials, and finally head to the Bhartiya Sanskriti Darshan Exhibition, which beautifully displays Kutchi culture and crafts. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Bhuj – Banni & Pachcham – Hodka/Dhordo (Approx. 90 km / 2 hrs)
Post breakfast, head towards Hodka village passing through the cultural villages of Banni and Pachcham. En route, visit charming settlements like Dhordo, Ludiya, Bhirandiyara, and Khavda, where you’ll witness traditional mud houses (bhungas), handicrafts, and folk art that bring alive the true spirit of Gujarat. Continue to the sacred Dattatreya Temple and then to Kalo Dungar (Black Hill), from where you can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the Great Rann of Kutch. The magical sunset over the white desert will leave you spellbound. Dinner and overnight stay at your resort in Hodka/Dhordo.
Day 4: Hodka/Dhordo – Koteshwar – Nakhatrana (Approx. 220 km / 5 hrs)
Today after breakfast, proceed to Nakhatrana, visiting some iconic places en route. Start with Mata No Madh Temple, dedicated to Ashapura Mata – the Kuldevi of Kutch. Next, explore Lakhpat Fort, the tomb of Saint Gosh Muhammad, and the historical Gurudwara. Continue to the sacred Narayan Sarovar Lake, one of the holiest lakes for Hindus, before reaching the famous Koteshwar Shiva Temple, beautifully located near the sea. After darshan, drive to Nakhatrana for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Nakhatrana – Mandvi (Approx. 90 km / 2 hrs)
Post breakfast, leave for the serene port town of Mandvi, famous for its beaches and royal heritage. On arrival, check into your hotel and then proceed to visit the magnificent Vijay Vilas Palace, an exquisite royal residence with stunning architecture.
